Clinic Design: Why Supportive Staff Spaces are Important

It is so important to think of the staff when designing because nurses are such a precious commodity. They have such challenging work. When you are hospitalized or if you have a family member who is very ill and you experience great nursing, you just stand back and say, “How do you find people who come to this calling and can do what they do?” It’s just remarkable. They often don’t have five minutes to go into a lounge to put their feet up.
